Position Purpose: The Design Assistant Lead provides administrative and advisory support to the Design Assistant Manager. The Design Assistant Lead supports and provides administrative assistance to a small team of Design Consultants, and is responsible for leading tasks which include customer contacts, vendor communications, project development, and reports management. The Design Assistant Lead also mentors and coaches Design Assistants and reinforces the mission, goals and policies of the company. Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Design Assistant Managers and a team of Design Consultants
• Assist and respond to inquiries, questions and concerns from Design Assistants
• Run reports and aid in achieving monthly revenue goals as required
• Mentor and share guidelines, best practices, and processes with Design Assistants

Direct Manager/Direct Reports

• This position reports to Sales Manager - Live Chat, Commercial, DA
• This position has no direct reports

Travel Requirements

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Working Conditions

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

• Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
• Must be familiar with the inner workings of the sales floor

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
