Business Process Design Consultant- AI
Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Business Process Design will play a critical role in shaping Adtalem's transformation toward AI-first operations. This individual will work closely with the VP of Innovation & AI, the broader innovation team, and cross-functional stakeholders—including business units, faculty, academic operations, and technology teams—to lead business process redesign in alignment with major AI initiatives. Acting as the enterprise's process design lead, this person will map current-state workflows, identify high-value opportunities for AI optimization, and design seamless future-state processes that integrate AI systems with existing platforms and operations. This is a highly collaborative role that blends systems thinking, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of how AI changes the way work gets done.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in business process design, operations strategy, or enterprise transformation
- Proven experience in process mapping, systems thinking, and workflow optimization
- Strong understanding of AI's role in business processes—especially automation and decision augmentation
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across business and academic environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, BPMN, or process mining platforms
