Digital Marketing Executive

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

This role is based in our Sunway VISIO Tower Office

  • Leading and executing digital marketing campaigns for specific events / products e.g. within a Informa Markets portfolio
  • Plan, launch, and manage end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Google etc...) to promote various trade shows.
  • Partner with sales, project, and marketing team to work out effective marketing campaigns that engage target audiences and deliver measurable results.
  • Translate high-level marketing strategies into practical campaign metrics, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand awareness goals. Develop new initiatives to engage with established and new audience segments, and support the growth of both existing and new brands in the event portfolio
  • Develop content strategy with wider marketing and related teams (e.g. Creative), to define specific content, customer experience and target journeys by channel and specific measurable goals to inform optimization and ROI.
  • Utilize marketing analytics and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and UTM tracking to monitor and optimize campaign performance. Ensure accurate campaign measurement through Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Leverage audience insights to better target and create personalized marketing content that resonate with the right audience at the right time.
  • Manage and optimize campaign budgets, ensuring spend is aligned to key performance metrics.
  • Champion a data-driven marketing culture, using analytics to continuously refine campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing, or an equivalent combination of practical and relevant experience.
  • Experience in leading/executing digital marketing campaigns including organic and paid campaigns for projects/events/products.
  • Effective knowledge and experience in web channels, social media, web analytics, emails marketing system, database management systems.
  • Excellent language proficiency in English; Ability to speak and write in Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Creative mind-set towards designing and content creation.
  • Desire to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Possess a knack for multi-tasking and take pride in flawless work.
  • Dynamic team player.
