Job Description
This role is based in our NY, LA, or Las Vegas office.
As the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be a strategic and autonomous professional with a strong creative vision and expertise in executing digital marketing campaigns. You thrive on taking ownership of projects, showing initiative, and working well as part of a team.
In your role, reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will oversee the execution of digital campaigns across websites, social media platforms, and other digital tools to support Cosmoprof North America events, primarily Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas and Cosmoprof North America Miami, along with some assistance for Beauty New York. This position is crucial for delivering successful owned-channel digital campaigns that align with key marketing objectives, such as acquisition and lead generation, awareness, retention, engagement, conversion, and driving revenue.
Your focus will be both strategic planning and hands-on execution, taking full ownership of projects from start to finish while ensuring alignment with business goals. As a vital member of the team, you'll be responsible for achieving measurable results that significantly contribute to the success of the organization.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Develop and implement social media strategies, content and timelines with minimal supervision, presenting recommendations to the Director of Marketing. Continuously analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, maintaining a relentless focus on enhancing key channel metrics.
- Take ownership of website updates, proactively reviewing the site for needed improvements. Continuously identify innovative ways to leverage the website channel to support marketing objectives.
- Serve as the primary business lead for the mobile app and online directory, collaborating with internal support resources to strategically build, monitor, and continuously improve these digital platforms.
- Work with creative team on development and delivery of needed campaign materials.
- Proactively contribute creative ideas for new campaigns, content, and owned-channel optimization based on past campaign performance, current trends, best practices, and understanding of marketing and business objectives.
- Write creative, impactful, and targeted marketing copy.
- Own the tracking, reporting, and analysis process for all campaigns executed, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Provide budgetary support including billing, coding of invoices, reconciliation, and tracking.
- Attend all Cosmoprof North America events to manage social channels and provide onsite support as needed.
- Provide support on additional/other initiatives and projects as needed.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team:
- 4+ years of proven work experience in digital marketing and proven ability to take direction and then work autonomously to achieve results.
- Extensive professional experience managing a brand's social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Strong technical skills in editing websites and some HTML knowledge.
- Experience with Google Analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- Event marketing experience.
- Exceptional self-management skills with proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and see projects through to completion without constant supervision.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas confidently to stakeholders.
- Results-driven mindset with demonstrated accountability for meeting or exceeding business goals.
- Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Passion for the beauty industry with relevant experience and industry knowledge a plus.
- Established experience managing relationships with external agencies and vendors.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and create reports used to provide insight to key stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is $74,000- $79,000 based on experience.
