Content Designer

Writer And Design Thinker

We are looking for an excellent writer who is also a design thinker and customer champion. You'll be joining an exciting team whose mission is to empower consumers and entrepreneurial customers, from those just starting out on their business journey to established business owners looking to grow. No matter where consumers or merchants engage with us, we're dedicated to meeting them where they are and providing solutions that propel them forward. This role is a good fit if you love using words to tell stories, to solve problems, and to make the world a better place. You're deeply interested in the world of small business, and in the tools and services that merchants use to help their businesses succeed. You're just as happy brainstorming big-picture strategy as you are crafting compelling headlines and helpful error messages.

Your Day To Day

• Plan and write UX content for web and mobile experiences (across all touchpoints including navigation and user interface copy, emails, in-app notifications, chatbots, and help).
• Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone.
• Use data-driven insights about experience gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build proposed experience solutions.
• Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in this problem/solution space.
• Coordinate and advise content designers on other teams to share context and clarity you've gleaned from customer research.
• Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows tangible results.
