Define and evolve the DAM product vision and roadmap aligned to enterprise content strategy and operating model. Position DAM as the single source of truth for approved content, supporting modular, omnichannel activation. Establish a forward-looking roadmap incorporating AI/agentic capabilities (auto-tagging, semantic search, performance insights, intelligent lifecycle management).
Lead end-to-end DAM implementation and optimization (e.g., Aprimo or equivalent). Define and manage product backlog, prioritization, and release planning. Partner with engineering, vendors, and system integrators to deliver scalable, secure solutions. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards.
Integrate DAM tightly with MLR systems (e.g., Veeva PromoMats) to maintain: approval lineage, version control and audit trails, expiry and withdrawal automation. Define workflows that ensure only final, approved assets are activated downstream. Support regulatory requirements (e.g., inspection readiness, FDA 2253 alignment where applicable).
Own the enterprise metadata model and taxonomy strategy. Define and maintain a metadata contract across CMP → MLR → DAM → Channels. Enable advanced capabilities such as: modular content relationships (parent/child, derivatives), rights and usage management, lifecycle state management. Partner with governance and content teams to ensure adoption and consistency.
Drive integrations across the content supply chain: CMP (e.g., Storyteq) for content creation and assembly, MLR (e.g., Veeva PromoMats) for review and approval, Channels (AEM, SFMC, DCO platforms, social, sales enablement) for distribution. Enable frictionless content flow from creation → approval → distribution → performance feedback.
Introduce AI-powered capabilities, including: automated tagging and metadata enrichment, natural language and semantic search, content recommendations and reuse suggestions, predictive compliance signals. Define how asset-level performance data flows back into DAM to: inform reuse and optimization, improve taxonomy and metadata, support reporting and dashboards.
Act as the platform champion, driving adoption across brand teams, agencies, and affiliates. Develop training, onboarding, and support models. Partner with stakeholders to embed DAM into daily workflows and campaign execution. Track and improve adoption metrics and user satisfaction.
