Our client is a full-service law firm that has been serving clients for over 150 years. They are seeking an associate with 3-5 years of experience in product liability/asbestos litigation. The position is based in its Long Island office with the ability to work in New York City.
Educational/Experience Requirements
- JD degree required with excellent academic credentials
- New York Bar Admission; New Jersey Bar Admission, a plus
- 3-5 years' asbestos litigation experience including depositions and court appearances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong professional judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients
- Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and multi-task required
The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 plus excellent benefits. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
