Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist builds marketing communications emails, primarily to travel agency owners and managers. The job focus is email design (HTML). This position primarily serves internal clients who represent travel industry suppliers like cruise lines and tour operators. The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for building emails, many of which are supplied by our supplier partners (cruise & land) and using existing internal templates, making edits, and obtaining approvals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Robohead project management tasks to ensure email is kept on track through completion.
• Utilize external PDFs and HTML to create emails.
• Analyze and adjust supplier-provided HTML to ensure coding is correct.
• Utilize correct templates where intended.
• Preview emails using Litmus to ensure proper rendering across devices and platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues related to aspects of email execution, as required.
• Follow all process and procedures of the email process.
• Additional duties to support the business unit, as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of email communication experience, 3 – 5 years of related marketing experience preferred.

• Mastery of Acoustic or other email marketing platforms

• Proficiency with Adobe suite products; specifically, Dreamweaver and Photoshop

• Proficiency of HTML/CSS

• Basic proficiency of core Microsoft Office suite products

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as independently focus on tasks.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• Experience working with designers, copywriters, Account Managers is a plus

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
