Travel Leaders Network Leaders Alliance Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

The Leaders Alliance Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing to the success of the Travel Leaders Network Leaders Alliance communities where travel advisors network, knowledge share and collaborate with like-minded advisors. The Marketing Specialist will oversee the execution and ongoing optimization of key B2B marketing activities related to these communities as well as act as the liaison between Travel Leaders team members and our outstanding travel advisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Marketing Specialist will be involved in the execution of marketing activities and strategies to establish and maintain strong and vibrant travel advisor communities, including:

  • Assist with creation and execution of all Marketing activities with Account Management, Industry Relations and Creative teams, including newsletters, B2B emails, events, webinars and more.
  • Work with the Sales Team to coordinate program membership as well as manage the technology processes related to program enrollment.
  • Support the Marketing team by assisting with communication activities targeted to our Leaders Alliance members.
  • Manage the Facebook groups, including updating content and assisting members with access to the groups.
  • You should be a 'people person' with the ability to successfully work with internal teams as well as our travel advisors and have great attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications, Business Administration or related field.

• 2+ years marketing experience.

• Proven work experience in a Community setting is a plus.

• Travel industry or destination relationship experience a plus.

• Well-developed in the areas of planning, organizing, and prioritizing; proven experience with marketing operation processes.

• Excellent people and communication skills; must be kind and gracious with team members and like to have fun.

• Very well written and spoken – Attention to detail and well thought out copy are extremely important in this role.

• English as your primary language and/or fluent in spoken and written English.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• US Domestic and International travel up to 25% of the job.

• Computer skills, including knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet software, marketing platforms and CRMs; familiarity with Salesforce a plus.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
