Accountant
The Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the firm's financial operations. This role supports day-to-day accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business operations. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Coordinate invoicing setup and payment processing to ensure timely collections and payments
- Manage accounts receivable escalation to resolve outstanding balances promptly
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, credit cards, and procurement platform (Coupa) transactions
- Manage expense reporting and reimbursements using Tallie; oversee employee T&E and client billings
- Review and validate intercompany invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Provide ad hoc financial support and assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements and internal reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Supplier onboarding and PO set up
- Ad hoc finance & help with close process

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or consulting firm
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Experience with Coupa, Tallie, or similar procurement and expense management tools preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative work approach
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Tallie, Concur, SAP
Location:
This role is remote with the candidate based in the US. While primary stakeholders are Eastern time zone, support for those in Mountain, and Pacific time zones will likely be required at times. Candidate must be willing to be flexible with their work schedule to balance the collective team needs and requirements.
The pay range for this role is $58,800 - $94,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
