Job Summary: The Materials Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of materials management at our manufacturing facility. This role will report to the Operations Director and will oversee all supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and warehousing. The Materials Manager will also work closely with other departments such as engineering, quality assurance, and finance to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience (5+ years) in materials management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management systems, and supply chain optimization techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges. Knowledge of quality assurance principles and compliance requirements. Leadership experience with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting in Mexico would be advantageous.
