Finance PMO will coordinate project operations to ensure successful completion of assigned initiatives. Support and strengthen customer relationships by facilitating effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders and internal team members. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and tracking finance projects and deliverables, updating timelines, meeting notes, and action trackers, and supporting project meetings by preparing agendas and summaries.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures all the project's requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.
- Assists in documenting project benefits, scope, requirements and timeline.
- Identifies project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.
- Facilitates communication as appropriate to all stakeholders.
- Inputs data into the One Finance portal for project status updates.
- Assists in overall project's success - including schedule, quality, and scope management.
- Coordinates tasks involved within project's multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer overall project success.
- Understands and exceeds customer needs and expectations.
- Gathers information for communication forums for the exchange of ideas and information for projects including project status, resolving project issues, problems, and changes.
- Organizes verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
- Responds in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints from stakeholders and other finance functions.
- Complies with and follows all procedures within the company security policy.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Major(s): Finance, Business, Project Management
- Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior, Recent Graduate
- GPA: Min 3.0
- Effective Communication
- Self-starter – Ability to drive work
- Technical Skills: Smartsheet, JIRA, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills
- Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 18, 2026– Aug 7, 2026
