Job Summary: Provide technical support to end-users for production applications

Role and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Resolving Issues: responsible for identifying and solving end-user problems with production applications, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining productivity.
  • Knowledge and Configuration Management: contribute to the Knowledge Database and Configuration Management Database, providing valuable information for ongoing support and system improvements.
  • Technical Assistance: offer technical support to production employees, helping them navigate and effectively use MES 4.0 applications.
  • Problem Simulation: recreate user problems to understand and resolve operating difficulties, which is crucial for finding long-term solutions.
  • Training and Assistance: provide training and assistance to users, enhancing their ability to utilize the production applications effectively.
  • Safety Compliance: adhere to safety and health rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others.
  • Collaboration and Communication: actively participate in team discussions, sharing ideas and information to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: identify and implement cost-saving measures by streamlining processes and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations.
  • Quality Assurance: ensure that procedures and work instructions are efficient, not redundant, and aligned with quality standards.
  • Complex Situations: confer with their reporting manager on complex or unusual situations, ensuring proper escalation and resolution.
  • Best Practices Sharing: exchange knowledge with other facilities within the organization, promoting the adoption of best practices.
  • Policy Adherence: maintain strict adherence to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and quality.
  • Data Confidentiality: maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding data and proprietary information.
  • Instruction Interpretation: are adept at interpreting various forms of instructions, whether written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled.
  • Strategic Alignment: understand and embrace the Operation and IT strategic direction, aligning their efforts with the company's goals.

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred not required or equivalent experience and one year of experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of all Microsoft applications/utilities required. A+ certification a plus. Must have demonstrated experience in the following: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues with applications. Incident Management: Competence in resolving site-level incidents. Basic Understanding of Production Applications: A foundational grasp of how production applications function and the role these applications play in the manufacturing process.
