Food And Beverage Manager

Help Food and Beverage Manager maintain daily operation and management of restaurant and recreational facilities, and organize subordinates to provide guests with superb services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and supervise food reservation work of guesthouses, and make sure that food will be delivered in a timely, considerate, and courteous way.
• Supervise security work of subordinates; strengthen the management on restaurant's property and recreational facilities so as to reduce expenses and loss; supervise procurement and inventory monitoring work, and control cost effectively.
• Establish materials management system, and maintenance items on every floor, good security and firefighting.
• Establish a good relationship with customers. Take initiative to request customers for advices on dining and recreation facilities. Take guests' complaints seriously and sincerely. Maintain a good communication and cooperation with other relevant departments of our hotel.
• Help Food and Beverage Manager complete working procedures and implementation; participate in the employee training plan, and give business training to the subordinates.
• Help Food and Beverage Manager to evaluate employees' performance.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge Requirements:

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
