Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Administrator provides foundational support to the payroll team, focusing on administrative tasks and data maintenance for Swiss payroll operations. This role is ideal for individuals with baseline knowledge of payroll processes and a willingness to grow within a multinational environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Observe and maintain employee payroll data in SAP and Workday systems.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and payroll-related communications.
- Support payroll audits by organizing and submitting required documentation.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Independent management of illness and accident cases, including full processing of medical certificates.
Job Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements
- Highschool or basic vocational training in administration or finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll or HR support roles.
- Ideally Basic knowledge of Swiss labor laws, social insurance (AVS, BVG), and cantonal tax regulations.
- Familiarity with Swiss payroll documentation and procedures is a plus.
- Strong command of German; French and/or Italian is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
