Regional Commodity Manager For Catheter Technologies
Jabil is looking to hire a Regional Commodity Manager for the Americas. This position will be located onsite in our St. Petersburg, FL or even at a remote location.
How will you make an impact? As the Regional Commodity Manager for Catheter Technologies, you will lead supplier scouting and development efforts to build a high-performing, compliant, and cost-effective catheter supply base. You'll collaborate globally to drive technical excellence by creating tools, metrics, and strategies tailored to catheter sourcing, helping Jabil meet its business goals through innovation, quality, and strategic supplier partnerships.
What will you do?
- Scout and qualify catheter suppliers with capabilities in extrusion, molding, braiding, tipping, and assembly.
- Develop catheter supplier capabilities to meet ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory standards.
- Implement supplier development plans focused on improving catheter quality, yield, and cost competitiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve catheter-specific technical challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop a Regional Commodity infrastructure that supports Jabil's business and growth plans.
- Develop, monitor and implement Regional Commodity Strategies
- Develop the supply base to exceed the goals and objectives of Jabil and the supply chain management team
- Market Jabil's Supply Chain Management expertise both internally and externally
- Define; Develop and implement supply chain models to meet Jabil's business needs.
- Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to assure best in class supply and price competition.
- Be a leader in ensuring that Jabil maximizes our purchase leverage for the best total cost of ownership
- Influence Jabil's current and potential new customers
- Develop effective relationships with Business Unit Management to ensure that Supply Chain Management is fully involved with new business opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
- Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
- Offer new, innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are "best in class."
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
- Establish new measurement systems if/where appropriate.
- Ensure the efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information within the Jabil Corporation to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
- Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Quality).
- Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.

How will you get here?
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management or Healthcare related field required (Biomedical Engineering for ex.
- At least 5 years of experience in a related industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience in the Catheterization industry or other similar type regulated industry (minimally invasive surgery) is required.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to be self-motivated and willingness to share experience and knowledge with the team.
- Experience with ISO 13485 is required.
