Responsible for the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) verification and testing of electronic circuit board assemblies. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; and one or more years experience in manufacturing environment. Language skills: Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook as well as training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Physical demands: The employee is frequently required to walk, and to lift and carry PC's and test equipment weighing up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of time. Work environment: Exposure to dirt, noise or dusty environments is moderate. Individual's primary workstation is located on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
