How will you make an impact? Directs the activities of the machine support group. Responsible for maintaining production schedules and ensuring that quality standards are adhered to by the group.
Location (On-site, Hybrid, or Remote?): This role will be based on-site at our Bryan Dairy St. Petersburg, FL facility.
Shift: 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday approx. with additional support needed beyond these hours + weekends, as needed. What will you do? Leadership and management responsibilities include recruitment and retention, employee and team development, performance management, and communication. Technical management responsibilities include overseeing maintenance management, planning technical staff activities, developing department reports, supervising line moves and builds, scheduling equipment vendors, ensuring efficient procedures, demonstrating commitment to customer service, and adhering to safety and health rules.
How will you get here? Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred. Experience: At least 3+ years of manufacturing/production related experience, including experience leading and developing teams. Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training. Knowledge, skills, abilities: Hands-on exposure and knowledge of Surface Mount Technologies (SMT) and Thru-hole equipment/gear, process optimization, Statistical Process Control, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Test, Demand Flow Technology (line balancing), and Design of Experiment methodologies. Knowledge of engineering disciplines including chemistry, mechanical, electrical, and industrial as it pertains to surface mount and final assembly.
