Learning And Development Manager

How Will You Make An Impact? As a leader within the Learning and Development Center of Excellence, the Learning and Development Manager will partner with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver impactful learning experiences across the organization. They will manage and grow L&D communities of practice, lead development initiatives that strengthen a culture of continuous learning, provide onsite program support, and develop high-quality facilitation materials. This role ensures learning initiatives are closely aligned with business objectives.

Location: This role will be based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Headquarters.

What Will You Do?

1. Partner with functional business leads, SMEs and Talent Management team members to understand role-specific learning requirements.
2. Conduct learning needs assessments, identify learning solutions and present to the Director, Learning & Development and business leaders for approval.
3. Evaluate current solutions for effectiveness and recommend improvements or other strategies for enhancing solutions.
4. Advise and support business leaders on how they can address their identified learning and development needs.
5. Apply knowledge of adult learning theory and a systematic instructional design and development model to the design of learning solutions including methods, media and resources (internal/external) as required.
6. Manage and lead the activities of others in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning/development solutions.
7. Adhere to project plans and timelines.
8. Update and maintain learning programs to ensure continued effectiveness.
9. Source and recommend vendors and other external partners to design, develop, and / or deliver learning solutions. Manage relationships with external resources to ensure delivery to project plans and quality expectations.
10. Administer training metrics, program evaluation, ROI and tracking training programs.
11. Consult with SMEs and others to design and develop instructor led, self study, online and blended instructional solutions that meet learning objectives and effectively engage the learner. Perform all other duties as assigned which may become necessary to support departmental/organizational objectives.

How Will You Get Here?

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, HR, or a related field required. Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in Organizational Development or a related discipline required.

Experience in a highly matrix/cross functional type of environment.

Operations/manufacturing environment experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Expertise in training needs analysis and instructional design (classroom, blended, online, communities, learning support). Management of learning program design and delivery. Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with, and influence, business leaders. Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, challenging global corporate environment required.
