At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
We are seeking a Mid-Level Architectural BIM/CADD Designer to join our Northwest Cities & Places team. This role supports architectural project teams by planning, configuring, implementing, and supporting Digital Delivery efforts, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD), across a diverse range of architectural projects.
As an Architectural BIM/CADD Designer, you will play a key role in the development and coordination of architectural construction documents. You will draft and maintain BIM models and drawings that translate design intent into clear, accurate, and buildable construction documentation, supporting projects from design through construction. Our work spans a variety of market sectors, including water, transportation, facility design, corporate workplace, hospitality, higher education, municipal, and science & research, serving both local and national clients.
You will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and leadership as part of a multidisciplinary team to produce coordinated BIM models and drawing sets. This includes applying architectural standards, interpreting specifications, adapting general and project-specific details as needed, and supporting the development of code-compliant documentation by incorporating applicable building codes and standards as directed. This position is well suited for a BIM/CADD professional who is comfortable working with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks, and contributing independently within a collaborative team environment.
