The airport is expected to become one of the world's busiest international hubs, accommodating 185 million passengers and up to 3.5 million tons of cargo annually by 2050. The airport and airport city development are looking to set a global benchmark for aviation experience.

With sustainability at its core, the new airport will achieve LEED Platinum certification by incorporating cutting edge green initiatives into its design and will be powered by renewable energy.

We are seeking an experienced Growth Technical Lead specializing in infrastructure and transportation proposals for airport development programmes. This role is a key part of the proposal team supporting the King Salman International Airport initiative, working closely with Inside Sales professionals and technical stakeholders to develop winning proposals.

The position is responsible for the development of the proposals alongside the Inside Sales Lead identifying and engaging the appropriate Technical Capture Managers across the programme to ensure proposals are technically robust, strategically positioned, and aligned with client expectations.

The role reports to the Operations & Growth Director and will be guided by the Operations and Growth Sales Operations Lead.

This position is permanently based in Riyadh, with travel to other KSIA delivery hubs as required.

In this role:

• Report directly to the Operations & Growth Director.
• Be guided by the Operations and Growth Sales Operations Lead.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and technical teams to develop high-quality proposals and coordinate with the Sales & Growth Team when and as required.
• Function as a technical liaison across the program to ensure proposal content, technical delivery strategy and LOE is accurate, competitive, and compelling.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous engagement with KSIA Infrastructure and Transportation Leads to foster a proactive approach, identifying potential opportunities, gaps and/or clarify any topic.
• Lead the technical development of proposals for infrastructure and transportation scopes within the airport program.
• Identify and coordinate with Technical Capture Managers to gather relevant inputs and ensure alignment with programme strategy.
• Translate complex technical content into clear, client-focused proposal narratives.
• Participate in proposal strategy sessions, reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure proposals meet submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and reflect a deep understanding of client needs.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal tools, templates, and processes.

Here's what you'll need:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure or transportation engineering, with at least 5 years in airport or aviation-related projects.
• Proven experience in technical sales, proposal development, or capture roles.
• Strong understanding of airport infrastructure systems, including landside and airside transportation networks.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficient with transportation planning, civil engineering, and airport mobility systems.
• Understanding of airport operational requirements and how they influence infrastructure design.
• Experience integrating technical input into proposal documents and presentations.
• Knowledge of proposal development tools and CSP platforms.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Ability to identify and engage key technical stakeholders across the program, with regular meetings to identify additional scope.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with internal and external contributors.
• Experience in presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strategic & Competitive Positioning:

• Ability to assess client needs and tailor proposal strategies accordingly.
• Understanding of competitive landscape and differentiators in airport infrastructure delivery.
• Experience contributing to win themes and value propositions in proposals.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with airport-specific systems such as automated people movers, airside logistics, or landside access planning.
• Familiarity with international aviation standards and guidelines (e.g., ICAO, IATA).
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and their integration into infrastructure proposals.

Project & Proposal Management:

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent proposals.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in proposal reviews, compliance checks, and final submission processes.
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic proposal schedules and priorities.
