As a Project Architect on our team in Saint Louis, MO you'll be responsible for managing projects for interior environments that enhance organizational performance and achieve the client's business objectives utilizing best practices. Our goal is to develop innovative interior architectural design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, and conducive to intended purpose and function, reflect client goals and are within project budget and schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for ensuring the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into the detailed documentation.
  2. Monitors the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring the design idea is consistent and properly executed.
  3. Responsible for technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project.
  4. Works with the project specification writer to develop specifications and is responsible for coordination of drawings and specifications.
  5. Checks completed reports, plans, estimates and calculations for accuracy.
  6. Works to implement the overall strategy for producing the documents and participates in organizing the sheets planned for each stage of the work. This includes defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM).
  7. Works with BIM Manager to define and set up project team software parameters and works with team BIM Lead to manage project standards.
  8. Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Project Team.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years' architecture experience.
  • Licensed Architect with current registration.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • US Citizenship.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
  • Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
  • NCARB registration.
  • LEED AP.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Knowledge of QA/QC process.
  • Knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Enscape and InDesign graphic software preferred. Other graphic tools and knowledge encouraged.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $115,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
