Project Controls Application Owner / Product Owner

Your Responsibilities

• You will take product ownership for a range of project controls solutions in the areas of document management, schedule control, cost and risk management, as well as reporting.
• You will define together with the business owners: vision, roadmap & backlog, technical configuration, structure/governance, and permissions.
• You will model, document, and version end-to-end processes & workflows and ensure that binding manuals are available.
• You will plan and conduct target group-specific training, establish self-service material, and drive the adoption of digital processes.
• You will act as the central interface to PMO, construction management, specialist departments (QM, HSE, logistics, crane), and orchestrate the integration of new/adapted processes into digital solutions.
• You will advise projects on digital solutions outside the existing landscape.
• Not part of your responsibilities are 1st/2nd-level support, hardware/software access, and standard user provisioning; you are responsible for the technical L3 ownership.

What You Bring With You

• Relevant project experience or a completed degree (e.g., economics, business administration, economics, engineering, finance, or a related field).
• First experiences as a product owner or business analyst are advantageous; highlight trainings or certificates from SCRUM, SAFe, PRINCE2, or PMI.
• In-depth knowledge in digital project management on construction sites and a deep understanding of document management systems (Aconex or TPCDE).
• Knowledge of solutions like Smartsheets, Wrike, or the MS Power Platform.
• Ability to convey complex digital solutions in a user-friendly manner; process-oriented thinking, initiative, and independent working; strong communication, teamwork, and intercultural competence.
• Good German and English language skills.
