The Senior Manager, Marketing, Growth & Channel Activation will lead key growth-driving activation programs across Aéropostale and Lucky Brand. This role, reporting to the VP Marketing, Aéropostale & Lucky Brand, will be responsible for helping develop and execute initiatives that drive consumer engagement, retention, app adoption, and store associate advocacy. This person will serve as the dedicated marketing lead for several important platforms and programs, including the Aéropostale App + Loyalty platform, the Lucky Brand App launch, and store associate advocacy programs across both brands. The role will also play an important part in brief development, helping translate business priorities into clear, actionable marketing briefs that support strong cross-functional execution. This position is designed to complement the broader brand marketing team by providing focused ownership of important activation workstreams across CRM, Retail, Creative, Store Operations, Communications, and field teams.
• Lead the development and execution of key growth and channel activation programs across Aéropostale and Lucky Brand. • Oversee and support the Aéropostale App + Loyalty platform, including activation efforts that drive consumer engagement, retention, and participation. • Lead marketing support for the Lucky Brand App launch, including planning, activation, and cross-functional alignment. • Help scale and strengthen the Aéropostale store associate advocacy program. • Help develop and support a store associate advocacy program for Lucky Brand. • Develop clear, strategic, and actionable marketing briefs for Creative, CRM, Retail, PR, Communications, Store Operations, and other internal partners. • Translate business priorities into marketing objectives, audience definitions, messaging direction, deliverables, timing, and success measures. • Partner closely with brand marketing leadership to ensure activation programs align with broader brand, product, and channel strategies. • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, CRM, Creative, Retail, Communications, Store Operations, and field teams to support strong execution. • Support retail and field activation efforts tied to app, loyalty, and associate advocacy programs. • Support coordination with external partners, where relevant to activation initiatives. • Ensure activation workstreams are integrated into the broader seasonal marketing calendar as the team works across multiple seasons simultaneously. • Monitor program performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, adoption, participation, and overall effectiveness. • Help bring greater discipline and consistency to how key activation initiatives are planned, briefed, and launched.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. • 6–8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in retail, apparel, fashion, or consumer brands. • Experience leading or supporting consumer engagement, loyalty, app launches, retention marketing, retail marketing, or field activation programs. • Strong experience developing marketing briefs and turning business needs into actionable plans. • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with overlapping priorities and multiple seasons in market at once. • Omnichannel retail experience preferred.
