You will be responsible for defining product intent, system behavior, and implementation-ready specifications that directly guide engineering execution. Operating in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape fintech products that power modern banking experiences. This position requires a strong blend of product thinking, technical fluency, and hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate discovery and delivery. Rather than managing backlogs, you will actively design systems, explore solutions, and reduce ambiguity through precise specifications. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences how financial technology products are conceived, built, and scaled.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own end-to-end product definition and collaborate closely with engineering teams to design, specify, and deliver high-quality fintech solutions powered by AI-driven workflows and modern system design practices.

• Define product vision and system behavior from problem discovery through implementation and iteration.
• Write clear, testable, and implementation-ready product specifications, including APIs, data models, and user interaction flows.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on system architecture, technical design decisions, and trade-offs.
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototype solutions, and refine product and technical specifications.
• Participate in engineering discussions to reduce ambiguity and ensure alignment across product and development teams.
• Support development workflows across front-end and back-end systems when needed.
• Design scalable workflows for fintech domains such as core banking, digital banking, lending, and payments.
• Continuously iterate on product designs using feedback, data, and experimentation.
• Ensure product solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term system architecture.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong fintech product experience, technical fluency, and a modern, AI-first approach to product development, with the ability to design complex systems and collaborate deeply with engineering teams.

• 5+ years of experience in product roles within fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Experience working with core banking, digital banking, lending, or payments platforms.
• Strong understanding of regulated financial environments and complex system workflows.
• Proven ability to design systems, workflows, and technical solutions beyond traditional requirements gathering.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and system interactions.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and translate product intent into system design.
• Experience collaborating closely with software engineers in agile or cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience or strong curiosity around AI-powered product development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments.
• High ownership mindset with a focus on execution, quality, and measurable impact.
