This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Architectural Designer in Croatia.

This role is centered on transforming client visions into detailed, constructible architectural designs while supporting preconstruction planning across a variety of residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders to translate requirements into precise technical drawings and coordinated design documentation. The position involves end-to-end involvement in the design lifecycle, from early concept development to final construction-ready outputs, ensuring compliance with building regulations and project specifications. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote environment where ownership, attention to detail, and independent problem-solving are essential. The role also requires strong coordination across teams to ensure project alignment, accuracy, and timely delivery. Accountabilities

You will design, draft, and manage architectural documentation while supporting preconstruction activities and ensuring alignment between client expectations, engineering requirements, and buildable outcomes.

• Meet with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed architectural designs
• Create 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD and BIM tools, ensuring accuracy and constructability
• Develop and refine construction drawings, schedules, notes, and specifications aligned with project goals
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal teams to integrate technical input into design outputs
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and submission requirements
• Identify potential design or constructability issues and proactively propose solutions
• Support project planning, bidding, and preconstruction development activities
• Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong architectural drafting expertise with construction industry experience and the ability to manage multiple projects in a structured, detail-oriented manner.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification (or related diploma)
• Proven experience in the construction industry, covering residential and/or commercial projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (minimum 3 years) and working knowledge of Revit
• Solid understanding of construction methods, building systems, and regulatory compliance
• Experience producing construction-ready drawings and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve design challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team collaboration
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a remote team environment
• Calm, detail-oriented approach with strong focus and resilience under deadlines
