Design Lead - Innovation

This role sits within an innovation-focused incubation environment where design is used to shape early-stage concepts into meaningful, human-centered experiences. You will help define the visual and experiential direction of future products, translating abstract ideas into tangible prototypes that inspire alignment and momentum. Operating at the intersection of strategy, UX, and visual design, you will contribute to high-impact "big bets" that influence how customers engage with next-generation solutions. The work spans interface design, storytelling, and concept development across web, mobile, and emerging platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to explore possibilities and rapidly iterate on ideas. This is a highly creative, hands-on role where design craft and forward-thinking innovation are equally essential. You will help elevate design standards while shaping what comes next.

Accountabilities

• Define and evolve the visual direction, mood, tone, and identity for emerging product concepts and innovation initiatives
• Design and prototype high-quality user interfaces across platforms such as web, mobile, and kiosk experiences
• Translate abstract product ideas into tangible artifacts ranging from sketches to high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Elevate design craft across typography, layout, motion, and visual storytelling to ensure consistency and excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape early-stage concepts and communicate design rationale to stakeholders
• Apply systems thinking to develop scalable design approaches and contribute to evolving design frameworks
• Incorporate emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to accelerate ideation and design exploration

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional design experience in product, UX, visual, or interaction design roles
• Strong portfolio showcasing interface design, prototyping, and multi-platform digital experiences
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated ability to build prototypes at varying fidelity levels using tools like Framer, ProtoPie, Principle, or similar
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar) into the design workflow
• Strong visual storytelling skills with expertise in typography, composition, and art direction
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional, iterative, and innovation-driven environments
• Motion design experience (e.g., After Effects, Lottie) and front-end familiarity are strong pluses
