This leadership role sits at the intersection of product strategy, protocol engineering, and developer ecosystem growth within a high-performance distributed ledger environment. The Director, Technical Product Management will shape and drive the evolution of a core blockchain platform used by enterprise and Web3 applications worldwide. You will define and own the roadmap across critical protocol services, ensuring technical cohesion, scalability, and developer usability across the ecosystem. Working closely with engineering leaders, architects, and open-source contributors, you will translate complex system needs into clear, executable product direction. This role requires deep technical fluency and strong product judgment to balance innovation, stability, and adoption. You will also play a key role in strengthening the developer experience, improving onboarding, and ensuring seamless production readiness across releases. Operating in an open-source, community-driven environment, you will help align internal execution with external ecosystem expectations while accelerating platform adoption.

Accountabilities:

• Own and drive the end-to-end product roadmap across core protocol services, including smart contracts, consensus, SDKs, and network infrastructure components.
• Partner with engineering managers and system architects to co-develop technical designs, specifications, and improvement proposals.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and prototyping through development, release, iteration, and adoption measurement.
• Engage actively in an open-source ecosystem by triaging GitHub issues, collaborating with contributors, and shaping public product direction.
• Translate developer feedback, ecosystem needs, and technical constraints into prioritized, actionable product requirements.
• Ensure release quality, including security, backward compatibility, and production readiness across distributed systems.
• Improve developer experience through enhanced documentation, SDK evolution, and ecosystem engagement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Strong technical product management experience in distributed systems, APIs, platform infrastructure, or blockchain environments.
• Background as a software engineer or deep technical practitioner with the ability to operate as a peer to senior engineers and architects.
• Proven ability to define product strategy, prioritize effectively, and make system-level tradeoffs in complex technical environments.
• Experience working with APIs, SDKs, backend platforms, and developer-facing infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consensus, state management, transactions, and performance optimization.
• Experience writing technical documentation such as RFCs, design specs, or equivalent product/engineering proposals.
• Familiarity with open-source development models and community-driven product ecosystems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Bias toward action with a hands-on approach to prototyping, testing, and iterative development.
• Experience in blockchain, DeFi, tokenization, or related Web3 domains is a strong plus.
