This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of SaaS, analytics, and energy systems. You will define and drive the product strategy for a platform evolving from monitoring into full Technical Asset Management. The role requires shaping the boundary between software product and service delivery in a highly technical, data-driven environment. You will lead a small senior product team and work closely with executive leadership to define strategic direction. A strong focus is placed on translating complex operational and analytics insights into scalable product value. You will engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders across engineering, sales, and customer success. This position is ideal for a product leader comfortable operating in ambiguity and domain-heavy environments.
Accountabilities:
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap in alignment with executive leadership, ensuring coherence between platform capabilities, analytics value, and service delivery models.
- Lead and develop a small senior product team, guiding two product managers focused on analytics/battery domain and platform/integrations.
- Translate complex technical, operational, and data-driven insights into scalable product offerings that balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial priorities.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the boundary between product features and service workflows, identifying opportunities for productization of recurring services.
- Drive structured, evidence-based product decisions using customer feedback, domain expertise, and business impact analysis.
- Act as a key product representative with external customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across engineering, sales, and customer success.
Requirements:
- Strong domain experience in energy systems, ideally within utility-scale storage, grid operations, energy trading, or asset management environments.
- Proven experience building or managing analytics-driven products that rely on data pipelines, models, or operational data.
- Ability to engage credibly with highly technical stakeholders, including engineers, operators, and commercial leaders.
- Demonstrated comfort working in ambiguous environments with non-standard product/service boundaries.
- Background in B2B SaaS product development cycles is a strong advantage.
- Experience identifying and productizing operational or service-based workflows into scalable product features.
- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2+ years in a product leadership or equivalent strategic role.
- Optional but valuable: 3–4 years in management consulting or strategy roles with a focus on energy or industrial domains.
Benefits:
- High-impact role influencing product direction during a key stage of business model evolution.
- Flexible, trust-based working model with remote, hybrid, or office-based options within Europe.
- 30 days of annual vacation plus additional holiday (including Rose Monday for Carnival celebration).
- Performance-based compensation package (80,000–100,000€ depending on experience).
- Two annual 5-day company onsite events fostering collaboration and culture.
- Personal development budget and structured learning support to support continuous growth.
- Opportunity to contribute to impactful work supporting cleaner and safer energy systems globally.
