Lead, Data Product Analyst
This role sits at the intersection of healthcare analytics, data product management, and strategic decision support, with a strong focus on transforming complex clinical and health plan data into actionable insights. You will lead the development of scalable analytics solutions that support population health, value-based care, and organizational performance improvement. Acting as both a technical expert and strategic advisor, you will collaborate closely with clinical leaders, executives, and cross-functional teams to ensure data is effectively used in decision-making. You will also own the roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment between business priorities and analytical capabilities. The position requires strong storytelling skills to translate complex datasets into clear, impactful narratives that guide leadership decisions. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead analytics strategy, develop scalable data products, and deliver insights that drive decision-making across clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead data implementation and analytics delivery projects, ensuring seamless integration of health plan, claims, and clinical datasets.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, partnering with executives and clinical leaders to align data insights with organizational priorities.
- Mentor and support data analysts and product team members, elevating analytical maturity toward scalable, repeatable solutions.
- Design and deliver advanced analytics to identify trends, cost drivers, performance gaps, and quality improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI) that enable self-service insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Define, prioritize, and manage the data product roadmap aligned with business goals and evolving stakeholder needs.
- Monitor adoption and impact of data products, continuously improving usability, performance, and business value.
- Collaborate with clinical, actuarial, and business teams to embed analytics into value-based care workflows.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity across all levels.
Requirements:
You bring strong healthcare analytics experience, leadership capabilities, and advanced technical expertise in data tools and storytelling.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, including health plan claims, clinical, or EMR data.
- Proven experience leading analytics initiatives or data product development in healthcare or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI for data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Experience with Databricks, Python, or R is strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights and compelling data narratives.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
