Senior Product Designer - Remote

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer - REMOTE. In this role, you will help shape the user experience across an innovative AI-powered civic tech platform. Your design contributions will have a direct impact on engaging voters and supporting candidates and elected officials. You will be part of a dynamic team working on meaningful solutions to enhance democracy. This fully remote contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in how users engage with democratic processes.

Accountabilities

• Deliver end-to-end design for features on our Win product, from concept to post-launch iteration.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define problems and create production-ready specifications.
• Maintain and enhance our Figma-based design system, determining when to innovate or reuse existing design patterns.
• Ensure high design standards across typography, interaction, and information hierarchy.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure impact on user engagement.
• Incorporate AI tools into the workflow to enhance design efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a focus on SaaS or consumer products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design craft and systems thinking.
• Ability to architect scalable design systems and enhance team velocity.
• Experience in influencing product direction with data-driven insights.
• Capacity to work autonomously in a low-ceremony, fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in driving complex projects to completion while maintaining quality.
