As Product Counsel, you will collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and compliance teams to support the development and launch of digital solutions in a rapidly evolving industry. You will play a key role in managing legal risks, structuring commercial agreements, and ensuring adherence to data privacy and regulatory standards. The position requires strong business acumen and the ability to deliver practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment. With exposure to product strategy and technology transactions, this role allows you to directly influence the success of modern digital platforms. Accountabilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including software licensing, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, service level agreements, distribution agreements, and partnership contracts.
• Provide proactive legal guidance to product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support new product launches by identifying potential legal risks and recommending practical compliance strategies.
• Contribute to the organization's data privacy program by drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and advising on regulatory compliance related to consumer data collection, use, and disclosure.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing legal documentation such as terms of service, terms of use, disclaimers, and related policies.
• Assess legal and regulatory implications of product features, updates, and integrations to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal strategy with product innovation and overall business objectives.
• Provide clear and practical legal guidance to help teams make informed decisions while maintaining compliance and mitigating risk.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4–8 years of legal experience focused on technology transactions and product counseling, ideally gained in a leading law firm or technology-driven organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial contracting, SaaS agreements, and technology-related transactions.
• Experience advising on data privacy regulations and negotiating Data Processing Agreements.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice.
• Strong business acumen and collaborative mindset when working with cross-functional teams.
