Product Director, Banking Engagement

Join a high-impact leadership role focused on transforming how users manage liquidity, payments, and daily financial activity within a fast-growing digital ecosystem. This position is ideal for a strategic product leader who can bridge investment behavior with everyday banking utility, creating seamless experiences that drive long-term engagement. You will shape products that turn inactive balances into highly used financial tools while leading innovation across onboarding, retention, and customer experience. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams to launch scalable solutions with measurable impact. The role combines strategic ownership, experimentation, and team leadership with the opportunity to influence the future of digital finance. If you thrive on growth, data, and customer-centric innovation, this is a unique opportunity to make a lasting mark.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead the strategic roadmap for the banking engagement segment, including accounts, liquidity management, savings experiences, and everyday financial tools.
  • Establish and optimize key engagement metrics, ensuring product launches improve activation, retention, and recurring usage.
  • Build a strong experimentation culture through A/B testing, rapid iteration, and data-backed decision-making to accelerate growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end onboarding journeys that convert digitally native users into active banking customers through frictionless user experiences.
  • Manage the evolution of account experiences, including wallet functionality, savings products, and cashflow management capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, compliance, and legal teams to deliver high-quality products at speed while maintaining regulatory alignment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer obsession.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and rapid prototyping methods to improve product execution efficiency and shorten development cycles.

Requirements:

  • 7 to 10+ years of product leadership experience within high-growth fintech, neobank, consumer marketplace, or digital financial services environments.
  • Proven success driving user activation, engagement, retention, and monetization through product innovation.
  • Strong expertise in experimentation frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, and interpreting performance data to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of user experience design and the ability to translate customer pain points into intuitive digital solutions.
  • Strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to convert long-term vision into clear execution plans.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools for workflow optimization, prototyping, analytics, or operational efficiency.
  • Commercial awareness with knowledge of deposit retention, ecosystem cross-selling, and revenue-driving banking mechanics.
  • Experience with banking, payments, or regulatory ecosystems across the United States and Europe is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience coaching and developing high-performing product teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $150,000 to $250,000.
  • Eligibility for equity matching based on starting base salary.
  • 401(k) plan with employer contribution matching.
  • Company-sponsored health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Generous paid time off including birthday leave and work anniversary leave.
  • Flexible working model with hybrid, remote, and flex-hour options.
  • Internal mobility opportunities and career development pathways.
  • High-performing, collaborative, and innovation-driven work environment.
  • Access to learning opportunities that support personal and professional growth.
