This role is centered on taking full ownership of a marketplace platform with a strong focus on catalogue integrity, pricing accuracy, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring that all listed products are valid, serviceable, correctly priced, and aligned with defined business rules. The position plays a critical role in strengthening governance, reducing inefficiencies, and improving the reliability of end-to-end marketplace operations. You will work across business, engineering, and operations teams to identify gaps and implement scalable solutions. The environment is fast-paced, execution-driven, and highly outcome-focused. Success in this role directly impacts customer experience, order accuracy, and overall platform performance.

Accountabilities

• Own the end-to-end marketplace platform, including catalogue, pricing, availability, and operational workflows, ensuring overall system reliability and business alignment.
• Lead catalogue governance by identifying and removing duplicates, invalid listings, and non-serviceable products while defining and enforcing quality standards.
• Control pricing and availability accuracy by ensuring compliance with business rules, inventory alignment, and fulfillment feasibility.
• Design and implement standardized SOPs for product onboarding, approvals, pricing updates, catalogue changes, and order processing.
• Improve order flow and customer experience by reducing cancellations, ensuring valid order processing, and aligning workflows with business rules.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and finance teams to drive platform improvements, automation, and governance enforcement.
• Define and monitor key performance metrics such as catalogue accuracy, invalid orders, cancellation rates, and availability compliance.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Marketplace, E-commerce, or platform-based product roles.
• Strong expertise in catalogue management, product governance, and marketplace operations.
• Good technical understanding of APIs, backend systems, workflows, and SaaS/platform ecosystems.
• Proven experience in identifying process gaps and implementing scalable, structured operational frameworks.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make decisions independently and drive outcomes end-to-end.
• Experience working in B2B marketplaces, inventory-linked systems, or supply-chain-integrated environments is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders in complex environments.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a process-oriented approach.
