Accountabilities:

• Create efficient and buildable kitchen and bathroom layouts aligned with project scope, client needs, and construction feasibility.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings to help visualize renovation concepts and support client decision-making.
• Assist with design revisions, material planning, cabinet layouts, and space optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit plans for city permitting processes while tracking approvals and following up on status updates.
• Coordinate project timelines, internal tasks, and next steps to ensure smooth transitions into construction.
• Request, collect, and organize vendor and trade bids for scopes such as windows, doors, electrical, and concrete work.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, design files, and communication records across multiple active projects.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects progressing efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Residential Designer, Kitchen Designer, Kitchen & Bath Designer, or Interior Designer focused on remodeling projects.
• Strong proficiency with Chief Architect preferred, or similar platforms such as 2020 Design, SketchUp, or equivalent software.
• Demonstrated ability to create practical layouts, cabinetry plans, and realistic 3D renderings for residential spaces.
• Understanding of residential remodel workflows, permitting processes, and construction coordination.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting directly with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of moving projects forward independently.
• Portfolio showing real project layouts, plans, and remodeling design work is strongly preferred.
