Senior Conversational Designer

As a Senior Conversational Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent, user-centric chatbot experiences across multiple digital channels. You will integrate AI capabilities with UX design principles to create seamless and effective conversational journeys for global clients. Working in a collaborative environment alongside developers, data analysts, and business teams, you will lead workshops, prototype solutions, and optimize AI-driven interactions. This role offers the opportunity to influence innovation, drive best practices, and enhance user satisfaction while continuously developing your professional skills. Your work will directly impact the design and performance of conversational interfaces across diverse industries.

Accountabilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and apply business requirements and user insights to design end-to-end conversational flows.
  • Lead workshops and co-creation sessions with clients and stakeholders to validate concepts and define solutions.
  • Model, maintain, and improve AI chatbots, ensuring consistency of brand and conversational tone.
  • Apply best practices in UX design, NLP, generative AI, Regex, and Fuzzy logic to create intuitive interactions.
  • Prototype, document, and communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders.
  • Define requirements for testing, monitor conversational experience metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance innovation initiatives and strengthen the conversational ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in UX research, user personas, and journey mapping.
  • Strong background in Information Architecture, Design Thinking, and Design Systems.
  • Expertise in AI for chatbots and familiarity with providers such as Watson, LUIS, or Dialogflow.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
  • Knowledge of conversational metrics, prototyping, usability, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for client-facing activities.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing contexts.
  • Advantageous: experience with multichannel conversational interactions, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, RegEx, Fuzzy Match, and multilingual communication (English/Spanish).
