Senior Copywriter (Direct Response)

This role offers a unique opportunity for a strategic, performance-driven copywriter to own messaging across high-investment client campaigns. You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional pod to craft ad scripts, emails, sales pages, webinars, and long-form content that drives measurable results. Beyond writing, you'll analyze performance data, develop creative hypotheses, and influence messaging strategies to maximize client ROI. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, enjoys solving marketing challenges, and wants to advance as a strategic partner rather than just a content creator. Success requires combining creative skill with analytical insight to drive direct response growth across multiple high-stakes campaigns.

Accountabilities:

  • Own messaging strategy for assigned client pods, collaborating closely with strategists, media buyers, and project managers
  • Write and refine ad scripts, body copy, emails, sales pages, webinars, and VSLs that convert across multiple channels
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify winning content, belief shifts, and audience insights
  • Contribute to creative strategy by proposing testable ideas and iteration plans based on data-backed reasoning
  • Maintain creative trackers, brief templates, and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across projects
  • Participate in weekly creative strategy calls with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with video and design teams to align messaging with visual assets and funnel objectives

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct response copywriting experience; info/coaching or high-ticket sales marketing preferred
  • Strong understanding of awareness levels, belief shifts, and persuasion frameworks for long-form and short-form copy
  • Demonstrated ability to write across multiple formats: ad scripts, emails, sales pages, webinars, VSLs
  • Experience analyzing creative performance data and iterating intelligently based on insight
  • Deep knowledge of avatar psychology, offer positioning, and audience segmentation
  • Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating in structured systems with clear tracking and brief templates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the reasoning behind creative concepts
  • Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, and results-driven environment
