Senior Instructional Designer - Remote

This role is crucial in developing professional learning experiences that drive user engagement and educational outcomes. Working with a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in instructional design while supporting product adoptions and ensuring that educators have the resources they need to succeed. Accountabilities

• Partner with product and assessment stakeholders to clarify requirements for professional learning offerings.
• Develop research-aligned professional learning that meets defined learning outcomes.
• Build knowledge of educational programs and curricula to ensure content accuracy.
• Collaborate within scrum teams to meet high-quality standards.
• Support backlog refinement with Product Owner and Lead IDs.
• Mentor junior team members and provide feedback to enhance quality.
• Analyze user research insights to recommend improvements.
• Support live sessions and internal training as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in EdTech product development and instructional design.
• At least 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• In-depth knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Strong understanding of K-12 curricula and learning trends.
• Ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple projects independently.
• Experience with asynchronous professional learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia).
• Experience facilitating professional learning in diverse environments.
• Excellent writing, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster productive working relationships across teams.
• Adaptability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience in agile or scrum environments preferred.
