Sustainability Strategy & Circular Innovation Lead - Sr. Staff Product Manager
This role provides the opportunity to lead strategic sustainability initiatives across cloud infrastructure and data center operations while driving circular innovation and business value. The position focuses on developing monetization strategies for decommissioned assets, aligning renewable energy and carbon reduction programs with business outcomes, and enabling circular material flows. The leader in this role will engage with internal teams, external partners, and customers to design innovative go-to-market channels, advancing sustainability while enhancing customer value. Success in this position requires a combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexible engagement across the United States.
Accountabilities:
- Own P&L accountability for sustainability and circular innovation initiatives across multiple routes to market.
- Develop monetization strategies for rare earth materials and decommissioned assets, ensuring responsible supply chain reintegration.
- Align customer renewable energy, carbon reduction, and sustainability goals with actionable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal supply chain and operations teams to recycle, repurpose, and integrate materials into new or existing value chains.
- Design go-to-market strategies, leveraging market insights, policy trends, and competitive intelligence to drive expansion.
- Build and manage partnerships with customers, industry groups, and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives.
- Represent sustainability efforts externally, evangelizing programs at industry events, consortia, and through media engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading global sustainability programs, circular innovation initiatives, or business model transformations.
- Strong understanding of emerging market trends, customer needs, and ecosystem capabilities in sustainability and circular economy contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute market expansion and monetization strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving adoption of strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities across multiple organizational levels.
- Experience building and nurturing partnerships with customers, industry influencers, and external organizations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate sustainability goals into measurable business impact.
