Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a Sr. Marketing Analyst to work hybrid out of our corporate office in Bremerton. This position is responsible for the collection and analysis of internal and external data to conceptualize, recommend, and produce market insights and strategies.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Aggregate and analyze internal and external data to make data-driven recommendations to improve the member experience, create operational efficiencies, increase product/service usage, and enhance earnings/profitability.
  • Research, develop, execute, monitor, and report results for new data-driven marketing initiatives. These can include direct mail and printed mailings.
  • Administer the Master Customer Information File (MCIF) software – Database Marketing technology system – and the marketing-related functions of the Customer Relationship Manager software (CRM).
  • Initiate and analyze requests for proposals and conduct vendor due diligence.
  • Manage assigned vendor relationships.
  • Develop mailing lists for promotions and notifications using internal and external data for appropriate targeting and modeling.
  • Recommend strategic product and service promotions and reporting of measurable results.
  • Provide measurements and statistics of marketing and promotion campaigns pre and post campaign launch.
  • Prepare and deliver management and Board of Director level presentations that clearly communicate key findings in verbal and visual formats.
  • Participate in the preparation and deployment of various marketing plans and activities.
  • Document and maintain research and analysis procedures.
  • Continuously seek knowledge of existing and new statistical models and be prepared, as needed to educate senior executives, Board of Director members, and others on these methodologies in layman's terms.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel. Proficiencies in Excel PivotTables and data appends. Experience in SQL and Raddon Integrator Advance a plus. Demonstrates a high level of engagement and active collaboration contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Understand, model, and represent KCU's core values.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or Marketing required.
  • Five years of experience in aggregating and analyzing data required.

Preferred Qualifications and Education

  • Five years of hands-on experience managing marketing research helpful.
  • Financial services sector preferred.

Supervisory Status

This position does not supervise others.

Working Conditions

This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs,
  • Constantly positions self in work environment,
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions,
  • Must be able to detect objects at a distance,
  • On occasion will move up to 20 pounds of office objects,
  • Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions.
