Combat Designer
Keywords Studios are looking for accomplished and enthusiastic Combat Designers to join our Singapore based team working on an exciting, new, and unannounced project. This role is based on-site at our Singapore Studio. We encourage both mid and senior-level designers to apply.
Responsibilities
- Designs, implements, and iterates on combat systems, features, and content.
- Writes and maintains documentation for combat systems, features, and content.
- Communicates with engineering, art, and other disciplines to produce implementation plans according to design specifications.
- Deconstructs broad specifications into actionable tasks for designers, engineers, technical artists, and artists.
- Drive and follow-up on the production of features, ensuring communication and collaboration across disciplines to meet deadlines.
- Playtests their designs with peers to gather feedback and inform subsequent design iterations and refinements.
- Polishes the gameplay experience for quality and accessibility to ship amazing products.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of design principles and trends in the industry
- Learns from and shares knowledge with peers on a regular basis
