What You Will Do

As a Deployment Specialist, you'll orchestrate automated MV deployments and upgrades and continuously improve the automation that deploys and validates production-like demo environments. You'll also help keep release regression signal green for official and release builds. You'll bring an operational mindset and strong scripting/automation skills, acting as the first responder for MV incidents, performing initial troubleshooting, coordinating triage for environment and pipeline issues, and partnering with Engineering teams on deeper fixes.

  • Orchestrate automated deployments and upgrades for multiple Market Validation (MV) environments used for demos, betas, and customer validation; maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures in Confluence and track work/change requests in Jira.
  • Build and maintain deployment automation (scripts and CI/CD pipelines) to provision, configure, upgrade and validate MV environments.
  • Support PV Release Regression runs; investigate failures, improve diagnostics, and help keep regression runs actionable and consistent.
  • Log PV Release Regression outcomes consistently in Jira; document regression procedures, known issues, and troubleshooting guidance in Confluence.
  • Triage failures across deployments, environments, and regression pipelines: collect artifacts, isolate likely cause (test, pipeline, environment, or product), apply safe mitigations where appropriate, and escalate with clear evidence.
  • Monitor MV environment health and proactively address common risks (configuration drift, expiring certificates, capacity constraints & failing integrations) to protect demo readiness.
  • Update automated tests and pipeline logic when application behavior changes; help convert manual test plans into automated checks and integrate them into shared regression/E2E suites.
  • Help define and track operational success measures for MV readiness
  • Maintain regression health and drive continuous improvements based on data.
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency (e.g., log analysis, failure triage, deployment insights) and to identify patterns in deployment failures, flaky tests, and environment instability; proactively recommend mitigations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Core requirements
    • 3+ years in deployment/release engineering, environment operations, DevOps, or test automation supporting multi-component enterprise applications.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills: logs, configs, integrations, and pipeline failures; able to create clear escalation packages and follow issues through to resolution.
    • Hands-on scripting/programming across multiple languages used in test and pipeline ecosystems, such as Java, VBScript, Batch, Shell, PowerShell, TypeScript, Groovy, and Python.
    • Strong Git fundamentals and experience collaborating via pull requests and code reviews.
  • Deployment automation & Orchestration
    • Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins/Groovy, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Cloud Build), including scheduling, gated runs, post-deploy verification, and artifact retention.
  • Validation, regression, and test automation
    • Experience executing and troubleshooting automated regression/E2E suites used as quality gates for official and release builds, comfortable updating tests when application behavior changes.
    • Experience with test automation frameworks/tools (e.g., JUnit/TestNG, pytest, Playwright/Selenium/UFT) and improving diagnostics/reporting (flake reduction, actionable results).
  • Environment operations
    • Experience supporting production-like environments with monitoring/alerting, certificate awareness (TLS), and basic networking concepts (DNS). Kubernetes/container exposure is an asset. Public cloud experience is also an asset (e.g., understanding common resources and concepts in Azure and/or GCP)
  • Ways of working
    • Clear communicator who can work across time zones with Business Consulting, PV, and Engineering teams; comfortable with incident-style workflows.
  • Education
    • Degree or diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).
