About the Role
The Solution Architect is a leader with extensive SME experience in complex technical supply chain management product knowledge that will bridge product gaps and support a combined professional team of solution consultants who drive change in the product, and developers who integrate the change requirements into the product.
Working in close collaboration with product management, product, deployment teams, and clients to refine the designed solutions to arrive at final deployable product before going to market. The result is that the customer will be able to fully integrate the product into their business operations model and Kinaxis Inc. will experience an increase in the adoption of products and revenue.
All documentation and operational changes that the team produces will be tied to the product and will be used across the organization. The Professional Services team will be the largest consumer of what this team deploys to support clients in integrating the product into their supply chain management.
What You Will Do
- Supporting industry templates from strategic planning to development/execution and all stages of deployments from early adoption through to growth.
- Engaging with customers from an industry perspective, capturing feedback on the product and ensuring feedback provided to the PM and Engineering teams.
- Accountable for solution design, with interaction from the Product Manager, including refining the process flows, creating user stories and test scripts, and defining the overall data flow for the program.
- Leading the team of consultants on the solution development team to ensure the product is meeting the business needs of the customer.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure PS and partners are ready to deploy the product through the life cycle. Providing input and feedback to Training and Enablement on both sales and deployment enablement.
- Own outcomes and customer expectations for our industry solutions.
- Find opportunities to accelerate the SDLC through innovative application of AI or other tooling, while upholding architecture consistency, secure design, and code-quality standards.
- Review AI-generated code rigorously for correctness, architectural fit, integration risk, and edge case support with a growth mindset and bias for experimentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree industry related.
- 7-10 years of related experience in supply chain management software industry
- Adept at influencing without direct authority.
- Subject matter expert in supply chain concepts and best practices coupled with in-depth experience with supply chain solutions and applications (such as RapidResponse, Oracle or Blue Yonder).
- Ability to lead, and coach a team of seasoned professionals, and multiple stakeholders through complex projects.
- Technical leadership experience in data integration, data management, system configuration and system deployment for supply chain software implementations.
- Experience in building collaborative relationships, trust, rapport, and credibility within the organization, the industry, and external networks.
- An articulate communicator who demonstrates their level of knowledge. Has the ability to lead facilitation and present information that will engage a diverse audience in an inspiring and impactful way.
- Skilled in building new products and solutions.
- Experience in supporting rapid innovation during delivery of new BBP products to early adopters during pre launch and launch phases.
- Drive early innovator deliveries.
- Drive proof-of-value deliveries until growth phase.
- Deliver explainable, supportable, and scalable product capabilities.
Role Specific Skills and Qualifications
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Product Program Management experience from concept to commercialization.
- Expertise in aligning key KPIs and reporting on progress against milestones that drive accountability.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, related reporting software, information systems, and related industry software, and industry expert knowledge in supply chain software products.
- Work is conducted within the standards and practices of Kinaxis Inc. Adherence to all security and confidentiality is required. May involve multiple project demands, regular non-routine hours, provide high quality work within time demands, travel is a requirement for this position up to 20% of the time.
- The incumbent is proactive and consistent in taking initiative to ensure their knowledge and skills remain current in the industry, and technical developments are in alignment with strategic company objectives to meet their position requirements.
