Location: Molex Hung Yen, Vietnam (Daily Bus from Hanoi, Hai Duong & Bac Ninh) Reports to: Product Management Director

Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I Industrial Park. Today, we are expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This state-of-the-art site will produce advanced products, including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Job Purpose

The Product Lead is accountable for overall product management of fiber optic connectivity solutions. This role drives product strategy, roadmap, cost and profitability, and works closely with R&D, Engineering, Sales, and external partners to support business growth—especially in Data Center applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product management for fiber optic connectivity products, including:
• Product roadmap and long-term strategy
• Cost structure, pricing, and profitability (P&L ownership)
• Product development and GA transfer schedule control
• Support Data Center business development, including cable assembly, shuffle modules, and high-speed AOC products
• Work closely with Sales and BDM teams to support new business opportunities, RFQ responses, and customer proposals
• Coordinate cross-functional resources (R&D, Process Engineering, Quality) to ensure project milestones and customer requirements are met
• Provide market trends and customer insights to R&D for design and technology direction
• Conduct business reviews and demand forecasting
• Deliver regular internal product training to Sales and Marketing teams
• Collaborate with key suppliers and strategic partners to execute product strategy

Scope & Impact

• Drive product line performance to meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
• Act as a key interface between customers, Sales, and internal technical teams
• Influence product and technology decisions aligned with Data Center market trends

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fiber optical discipline (required)

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management or engineering management roles
• Strong understanding of Data Center infrastructure and market trends
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in Silicon Photonics and Laser Diode technologies
• Proven ability to manage complex product portfolios and lead transformation driven by market strategy
• Strong presentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills

• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Familiarity with Data Center or Central Office architecture and requirements
