Productivity Portfolio Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Productivity Portfolio across the Kraft Heinz North America business. As a key member of the Commercialization Operations team, with strong ties to Procurement, you will drive the productivity pipeline and its delivery, identify and mitigate risks, improve processes and routines, and respectfully push and challenge cross-functional teams to capture cost reduction opportunities. Working closely with these teams, primarily Procurement, R&D, and Finance, you will achieve portfolio goals and business objectives. Leveraging end to end commercialization experiences will be key in determining risks and identifying opportunities.

This candidate should have experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and bringing cross-functional teams together to execute project plans. It will also be critical to understand financial forecasting and take ownership of financial performance. Must be able to understand business objectives, analyze data, and communicate outcomes while managing competing cross-functional priorities across a multi-category portfolio. Strong communication, organizational agility, and collaboration are critical for success in this position. The preferred candidate should have experience in leading either operations, procurement, or R&D projects. Experience onboarding new vendors and knowing what it takes to implement upgraded product specifications will be relevant.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of savings projects within the Kraft Heinz North American Zone, ensuring timely and full delivery
  • Challenge the status quo and fearlessly collaborate with cross-functionals
  • Identify and remove barriers that inhibit project progress
  • Contribute to the development of annual operating plans with Procurement, Finance, and R&D functions
  • Assess financial performance on an ongoing basis and build, update, and review financial models
  • Evaluate and communicate risk, both in terms of financial performance and technical probability
  • Regularly present business plans to cross-functional leadership
  • Manage key stakeholders from Procurement, R&D, Operations, and Finance
  • Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency

Expected Experience and Required Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in Direct Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Food Science, Product R&D, or Packaging R&D
  • Strong project management, commercialization, and change management skills
  • Good understanding of Product and Packaging performance in the food or beverage industry preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and forge collaborative business relationships
  • Able to negotiate and influence business decisions and change through formal and informal channels
  • Able to define problems, model and analyze data, and translate solutions to action
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, ServiceNow, SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence

Work Environment and Schedule:

Role will travel 10% of the time. Additionally, this role requires 5 days/week with hybrid flexibility to work remote 2 days/week.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $118,400.00 - $148,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
