KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Level Designer to craft the battlegrounds for our mobile action games. Your role is to design compact, engaging, and competitively viable maps that are optimized for shorter, 4-5 minute matches. You will own the level design process from initial concept and blockout to final polish, using rapid playtest iteration to create strategically rich environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and build 5v5 multiplayer maps in Unity.
• Focus on creating levels with strong strategic depth, clear sightlines, and balanced flanking routes suitable for tactical gameplay.
• Rapidly iterate on map layouts based on internal playtests and feedback from the team.
• Collaborate with artists to ensure levels are not only fun to play but also visually compelling and performant.
• Script and implement game mode objectives within the levels (and coordinate with team as needed).
• Analyze player behavior and heatmaps post-launch to make data-driven improvements to maps.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of level design experience.
• Proven experience designing and shipping maps for multiplayer shooters.
• High proficiency with Unity Editor.
• A deep understanding of the principles of competitive map design.
• A portfolio showcasing past level design work is required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing for the constraints and opportunities of mobile platforms.
• A passion for esports and a deep understanding of the tactical shooter genre.
• Scripting or visual scripting experience.
