Kuda Creative Operations Manager

Kuda is a money app for Africans on a mission to make financial services accessible, affordable and rewarding for every African on the planet. We're a tribe of passionate and diverse people who dreamed of building an inclusive money app that Africans would love so it's only right that we ended up with the name 'Kuda' which means 'love' in Shona, a language spoken in the southern part of Africa. We're giving Africans around the world a better alternative to traditional finance by delivering money transfers, smart budgeting and instant access to credit through digital devices. We've raised over $90 million from some of the world's most respected institutional investors, and we're rolling out our game-changing services globally from our offices in Nigeria, South Africa, and the UK.

This role owns how creative work gets done at Kuda. You'll sit at the centre of our creative ecosystem - working with Brand Marketing, Product & Lifecycle Marketing, Performance Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, and most importantly our Creative team - to ensure work is well-briefed, prioritised correctly, planned realistically, reviewed clearly, signed off on time, and reported transparently.

You'll bring structure without bureaucracy, clarity without slowing teams down, and calm to a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and run Kuda's creative operations and planning process end-to-end
  • Design and maintain clear workflows for how creative briefs come in, are reviewed, prioritised, scheduled and delivered
  • Partner with marketing leads to translate business priorities into realistic creative plans and roadmaps
  • Plan and coordinate creative work across multiple teams and channels (brand activations, product launches, lifecycle campaigns, performance ads, partnerships)
  • Ensure projects are scoped clearly, timelines are realistic, dependencies are understood, and expectations are aligned
  • Run creative sprints, status updates, traffic meetings and planning rituals that keep teams aligned without unnecessary overhead
  • Oversee review and approval processes, ensuring feedback is clear, timely and actionable
  • Provide visibility into workload, capacity, delivery status and risks - sharing regular updates with marketing leadership
  • Work closely with external agencies and freelancers to integrate them smoothly into Kuda's creative process
  • Continuously improve tools, templates and processes to make creative delivery faster, clearer and more enjoyable for everyone involved
