Job Responsibilities

Contribute daily to all parts of our product and design, utilizing our product and development workflow

Understand customer needs and challenges

Work directly with our Founding Product Manager to implement design changes feature by feature

Collaborating closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality implementation

Creating flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for product features

Contributing to establish internal workflows that maintain our attention to detail and quality

Qualifications

3+ years of experience designing and shipping beautiful digital products, ideally at a start-up or scale-up company, with a focus on SaaS or B2B products

Strong portfolio showcasing your design process from ideation to delivery, including visual design and aesthetics

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, particularly Figma

Proficiency in visual design: typography, color, spacing, iconography, and layout/composition

Proficiency in web best practices and standards: HTML/CSS, accessibility, and responsive design

Proficiency in interaction design: prototyping, transitions, animations, and easing

Excellent written communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment, with the ability to express ideas effectively through documentation, visuals, and prototyping tools—and defend your design direction

Experience incorporating technical tradeoffs into design decisions

Experience conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing sessions

Experience creating and maintaining design systems

Excitement about early-stage product development—you thrive on shaping the future of a product and are enthusiastic about co-creating Lago's next chapter

Fluency in English, both written and spoken
