Product Owner
This person will play a crucial role in guiding the development of B2C marketing and B2B digital experiences by prioritizing work across cross-functional teams and ensuring releases improve usability and measurable business outcomes.
The Product Owner will be responsible for maintaining a well-defined backlog and acting as a bridge between users, business stakeholders, and the development team.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively communicate the product value, vision, and roadmap to the technology team, translating strategy into executable features aligned to business goals.
- Partner with UX, research, and analytics teams to validate customer problems before defining solutions.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring its alignment with the overall product strategy and key business priorities.
- Oversee multiple B2C and B2B CMS-driven experiences across Lennox.com and LennoxPros.com, partnering with marketing, UX, and technology teams to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and improve usability and measurable business outcomes.
- Coordinate CMS operations and governance, including content publishing workflows, templates and components, defect tracking, and release readiness, while applying digital best practices across performance, SEO, and accessibility.
- Orchestrate feature development and craft clear and concise user stories. Define clear acceptance criteria and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, comprehend user needs, and integrate valuable feedback into the dynamic product process.
- Collaborate with the development team and release coordinator to plan and prioritize releases, ensuring timely delivery of the most valuable features for stakeholders and customers.
- Identify and proactively manage risks related to product development and delivery, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure feature effectiveness and inform data-driven product decisions and continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For:
- 3 - 5 years of experience is preferred, managing enterprise digital products or platforms, ideally in partnership with marketing, UX, and technology teams.
- Experience supporting CMS-driven websites (content publishing, templates/components, workflow/governance).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) or combination of experience and education.
- Experience as a Product Owner (or similar role) in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital experience performance metrics (e.g., conversion, engagement, content effectiveness) and using data to inform prioritization.
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation, or continuous optimization using digital analytics and reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to support product discovery, analysis, and delivery workflows (e.g., generating backlog artifacts, evaluating options, or supporting experimentation) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SEO, structured content, and discoverability considerations in CMS-driven experiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and track work through tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar product delivery tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with enterprise CMS and analytics tools is preferred: dotCMS, SAP SmartEdit, Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
What We Offer:
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
