Product Application Consultant (HVAC Controls)

Lennox Mid-Level Position

Under general supervision, this mid-level position will report to the Supervisor of the Inside Residential Technical Support Group, Communicating Controls Support to Lennox Personnel, Homeowners and Dealers.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing feedback to the Product Coordinator, Control Team and IT Support on reported Communicating Controls concerns related to connectivity issues, Consumer Smart Phone Apps, Consumer Portal, and Lennox server issues.
• Working with the Lennox IT and Controls Teams when necessary to resolve Wi-Fi issues reported by Dealers, Consumers, Tech Support and Field Technical Consultants.
• Identifying areas which require reliability performance improvement and providing reports to Engineering when applicable.
• Documenting call information into database for additional follow-up needs.
• Identifying and helping implement process improvements.
• Opening IT Support Tickets when necessary and following up on their status.
• Supporting Safety Audits, Service Reviews and Product Audits of Communicating Controls.
• Participating in Independent Design Reviews to help ensure prior field issues are addressed in upcoming product launches.
• Providing consumer, dealer, serviceability, safety, and literature development support of Communicating Controls projects.
• Supporting the launch of new Communicating Controls products and software version updates.
• Supporting the implementation of Salesforce.com by participating in the work sessions and providing input for troubleshooting codes.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2-5 years related experience.
• Experience in the HVAC Controls/industry.
• Experience with Smart/Communicating Controls, Thermostat programming, Home Automation or related software.
• Experience in application programming, networking ie routers, internet and Wifi connections and support.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple technical requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $66,000 - $87,150 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
